Hi everyone! This week Iโm going to talk about one of those controversial aggressive shots, and itโs something that I donโt generally teach, but you all should at least have it in your toolbelt.
Going down the line or right at the net person is what is known as a โlow percentage shotโ, meaning you may hit a winner but thereโs a good chance youโll hit an error as well. Set the tone early in the match (when you see the opportunity) and go right at the net person! Not only will this intimate your opponent, it will probably upset themโฆGOOD!
NOTE: Until you really practice this, make sure you donโt do this on key points like deuce or 4-4! In addition, make sure itโs on a ball you feel you are in total control ofโฆfor example, an easy second serve return.
As always, my goal is to give you the tips and tools you need to be the best tennis players you can be. If you have any questions about rules, strategies, or situations that happened to you on the court, please tell me about it in the comments section below and Iโll address it in a future video! Also, be sure and share my posts with your tennis friends, and connect with me through my social media links in my bio at the top of this post!
